Dr. Georgiette Brown also known as Dr, G is a dually board certified Family NP-BC and Psychiatric Mental Health NP-BC with over 20+ years of health care experience.

Dr. G is a compassionate professional who utilizes holistic and evidence-based traditional patient-centered care models to ensure the overall health and wellness of her patients. Her virtual services include acute and chronic illness management, weight management, hair loss, STD management, COVID-19 treatment, UTIs, vaginal and yeast infections, and some prescription refills.

Dr. G's Health and Wellness offers general family medicine for children, teen, young adults, adults, and elderly. Her virtual services include acute and chronic illness management, weight management, hair loss, STD management, COVID-19 treatment, UTIs, vaginal and yeast infections, and some prescription refills.

Dr. G's Health and Wellness offers Telehealth women's health services, including treatment for urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted infections, and yeast infections. Infertility consult is also available.

Dr. G's Health and Wellness offers Telehealth men's health services, including treatment for hair loss, urinary tract infections and sexually transmitted infections. 

Dr. G's Health and Wellness offers mental health services, including counseling and medication management for conditions such as anxiety and depression.

A GLP-1 may be right for you if:

·  Your BMI is 30 or higher

·  Your BMI is 27 or higher and you have a weight-related health condition (ex: hypertension, diabetes)

·  You are not pregnant or trying to get pregnant

·  You do not have a heart condition.

Insurance companies have different requirements and or authorization processes that may be required in order for the insurance companies to approve your medication. We assist you in filling out the required preauthorization forms from the insurance company.

Please be advised that we DO NOT make the decisions or have the ability to override the insurance company decisions, and your insurance company may deny the request or they may recommend and alternative option.

You are able to purchase the medication on your own. The prescription will be sent to the pharmacy and you can pay for it and pick it up directly from the pharmacy. Please be advised that we DO NOT provide the actual medication. We only send a prescription to the pharmacy of your choice.

In order to get started, you will need a recent metabolic panel before starting a GLP-1.

Please note that other labs may be required (based on the individuals history) before starting GLP-1 medications.

Dr. G’s weight loss program includes 3-month of patient-centered care to help you reach your weight loss goals and success. Dr. G’s weight loss plan includes:

·  A telehealth video consultation with a weight loss board certified NP or weight-loss specialist

·  A prescription for one of the GLP-1 medications if appropriate

·  Coordination with the insurance companies for prescription authorization

·  Lab order (if needed)
